Prior Lake, MN residents Brian Knudson and his wife Kennedy were shocked to hear what father Deren Puro had to say about his son bullying Knudson’s adopted African-American daughter, Diedre.
The bullying started with racist SnapChat videos that came from Puro’s twin sons, calling Diedre thinks like a “slut” a “fat-@ssed b*tch” and even the n-word. When Knudson contacted Puro and tried to work things out as peacefully as possible, he was met with even more hostility from the racist father. Because of this, Kndudson had no other choice but to get the police involved.
In today’s society, racism is becoming more and more condemned and Puro failed to believe that. The racist father saw nothing wrong with his children’s racism and bullying towards Diedre and even spoke out about how it is commonplace in his household to “joke around” and even use the n-word in such a way. Sadly, Puro was too blind to see the problem with his own racism, which has clearly been passed down to his children.
While vengeance is never the best solution to an issue, the way this problem worked out in the end gave everyone what they deserved. Deron Puro was a local independent contractor and as soon as his employer learned about this incident, he lost his job. Deron Puro is a classic example of a blind racist who had failed to realize that society no longer tolerates such behavior.
