Dogs are known for being loyal animals. Once a person adopts a dog, that dog becomes a part of the family. Many people are nervous about having their dogs around their children. However, dogs can be very protective over children. Zack was an example of a protective dog that changed a family’s life forever.
The husband told his wife that if the dog nipped at their baby daughter, then they were going to get rid of him. Zack immediately took a liking to the couple’s daughter. He began licking and sniffing her. He did not want to leave her side. When the baby was sleeping, Zack would always have at least one of his paws on the blanket.
When the little girl got older, Zack would follow her up the stairs and sleep on the bed with her. Unfortunately, Zack passed away sometime ago after being poisoned. He was loyal and protective of the little girl until the day he died.
The family is heartbroken over the passing of the Zack. The family adopted another dog named Sam. Even though Sam was not in Zack’s league, he still loved and protected the little girl. He protected the little girl until he died six years later.
