They Got Married In 1940. 75 Years Later, Doctors Discover THIS. WOW

Alexander and Jeanette Toczko had been in love nearly forever, becoming a couple when they were both eight years of age. Jeanette always wished for 75 married years with her husband. That wish came true on June 29.

After marrying in 1940, the pair moved to the San Diego area 45 years ago. Alexander, who served in World War II, recently suffered a broken hip that quickly took a toll on his health. Knowing there was probably not much time left for the couple, the family decided to grant them their last wish of dying in each other’s arms.

The hospice caring for Alexander placed a bed next to Jeanette in the Toczko home. Jeanette repeatedly asked what day it was. She was told it was June 29, their 75th wedding anniversary. After a short celebration with flowers and balloons, the family left to give the couple some private time. Not long after, Alexander passed away in Jeanette’s arms, just as they had always talked about their entire lives.

Afterward, Jeanette told him she loved him very much and would join him soon. She died 24 hours later. The couple was buried together at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego.
