A Girl Scout with a keen eye for location set up shop to sell the infamous cookies outside of a local marijuana dispensary in her town. The Girl Scout, who was on location with her aunt, set up her booth at Foster Buds Marijuana Dispensary in Portland, Oregon with a sign that read “Satisfy your Munchies”.
The girl’s aunt, who was interviewed by the local news station, said that the girl had a goal of 35 boxes to sell. She was hoping to sell those boxes in order to be able to attend horse camp over the summer. Foster Buds decided to run a promotion to help the girl reach her goal. To all customers who brought in a box of girl scout cookies that they purchased from her, they would receive a discount on the marijuana strain that is also named Girl Scout Cookies.
While the Girl Scout Organization may not condone how their scout went about selling their cookies, her aunt did make sure that she was not breaking any rules before they set up their shop. A spokesperson for the group did say that the organization does recommend that if a minor cannot go inside the business than they should not be selling outside of it.
The Girl Scout surpassed her goal of 35 boxes and hopefully she will be able to achieve her dreams of attending horse camp this summer.
