An audition by a surprising performer stuns The Voice of Italy judges in both her performance and her identity. Sister Cristina’s performance easily won over the audience and the judges with her energetic rendition of an Alicia Keys’ song.
Being cheered on by her fellow nuns, her dynamic act motivated all the judges to choose her for their team. When the judges turned to see who it was that had performed so brilliantly, they were so astonished to see a nun they could not believe their own eyes.
When asked by Raffaella why she chose to appear on The Voice, Cristina answered, “I have a gift and am giving it to you,” which brought a loud cheer from the audience. She also said she was waiting for Pope Francesco’s call to give her his opinion on her audition. The young nun had everyone mesmerized from the moment she stepped on the stage.
The pretty, petite nun appeared more as a pop star than a nun. Some of the judges called her “Holy Water,” while referring to themselves as the Devil.
Because all of the judges wanted her for their team, she had her choice of which coach to choose. She chose J-Ax as her coach because he was the first one to turn around, as she had promised she would do before the audition.
