Stephen Colbert is getting in his few remaining Left-wing hits on Fox News and conservatives in general. He’ll soon be taking over for David Letterman on the “Late Show” and will no longer be delivering the humor sprinkled diatribes that he routinely launches at the political Right. In this most recent rant, he purported to poke holes at what he views is the hypocrisy of conservatives in regards to the border children streaming into the United States from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.
In the South, the saying goes that a person should never cast stones from a glass house. Meaning do not criticize others for what you can be criticized of yourself. In Colbert’s glass house, he cares for the border children with all the love that liberals offer which is to dump the children on unsuspecting towns in across the country. While he himself has not offered to put up any of these wonderful children in his own home (and he has the means to do so), he has taken to insinuating that the only way conservatives can care for the border children is to offer them amnesty and taxpayer funded welfare.
During his monologue on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” he made comments explaining how much he and Fox News care for the children while interspersing the remarks with footage of Laura Ingram & others demanding the government deport the children or a segment of Fox News being critical of Obama’s policy of dumping the children in the cities and towns of Border States.
Colbert has a net worth of $45 million and earns $6 million a year. He annual income is thrice the lifetime earning potential of the average college graduate. How much has he shelled out to house the border children that he loves so much?
