When you think of a pallet, you might think about the long boards that are in a store with boxes stacked on top of them. While this is a common use, you can also use pallets to make a variety of additions for the home. One woman stacked pallets in a spare room and did something different with mattresses.
The home owners stacked pallets of various heights in the spare room so that they would have a movie theater. You need to position them in a manner so that enough mattresses can be placed on top to give family members enough space to sit.
You can also make a little more room for friends to come over to watch a movie. Once the mattresses are in place, you can add sheets or leave them plain.
Make sure there is a small area of space with the pallets for a stairway to get to the top set. Each stack of pallets is only one level higher than the one below.
About six pallets are used for the top row to create three rows of seating. Add paint to the wood to make them look like seats. This is also an idea that could be used in a back yard for a larger movie night.
