Taking the plastic from the backs of your earrings helps to keep the earrings lighter. Removing the plastic from the backs of earrings may also help the earrings fit your ear tighter.
Many other earring wearers have also been wearing both the earring back and its plastic guard. So Chelsea isn’t the only one who has discovered the actual use of the plastic earring guards on the backs of her ear ornaments.
