Most balloons are inflated so that they cane be played with or used for decoration. One clever woman decided to paint the outside of her balloons with vegetable shortening. The result is nothing short of amazing!
Everyone enjoys cupcakes and sweet treats, but it can be hard to find the time to bake cupcakes when your schedule is so busy. Even decorating the cupcakes is a task in itself. But the bubble decorations that this woman creates with balloons adds a vibrant look to cupcakes and is both simple and cheap!
You only need a few colored balloons about six inches in size. Inflate the balloons and coat them balloons with vegetable oil – you only need a thin coat of oil on the outside of the balloons. Mix gelatin separately in a bowl with cold water and coat the balloons with the gelatin mixture. Let them dry for about 10 minutes.
You will need to add another coat of gelatin before using the balloons for decoration. Let the balloons dry for about 24 hours before you pop the balloon and carefully remove the colorful bubble to place on top of your party cupcakes.
