Serena Williams’ Responds To Racist Comments: ‘Does My Sassiness Upset You?’

Nastase, who is a tennis star, recently made a racist comment about the unborn child of Serena Williams, when he stated that the baby will be chocolate-colored with milk. Serena has addressed the comments on Instagram.

She stated that even though the world has gone a long way in terms of equality, it still has a long way to go. She also stated that she is saddened by the fact that racist comments were made about her unborn child. She concluded the post by asking, “Does my sassiness upset you?”

Serena made it clear that she was not going to let the comments upset her. She stated that she is not going to stop putting out light and positivity to the people that follow her. Earlier this week, she made a happier post about her unborn child. She stated that her unborn child gave her the strength that she never knew that she had. Serena was pregnant during her last tennis match.

The International Tennis Federation recently suspended Nastaste for his comments. This is not the first time that he has gotten into trouble because of his comments. He called member of the British team in the Fed Cup b**ches. The ITF stated that they will not tolerate offensive comments made about players.
