A reporter in Anchorage, Alaska for KTVA-TV, Charlo Green, uttered obscene words as she quit live on TV Sunday night and walked off camera. She was just finishing up a report that she was doing regarding a marijuana group and its legalization initiative.
At the end of the report, she openly admitted that she was the head owner of the pro-pot group that she just made the report on.
She stated the following: “Now, everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska. And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but f*** it, I quit.”
Green feels that she needed to take a stand on how she felt regarding the legalization of marijuana and that is why she did what she did on live TV. She wants others to help stand up and help vote to legalize marijuana for all the right reasons just as it has been done in the states of Washington and Colorado.
Green will continue her efforts to have her voice heard on the matter and as to why she quit her job on live TV.
