See The Huge Lie The Right Wing Media’s Telling You About Obama’s Approval Rating

With the news getting worse for Democrats heading into the mid-term elections, last ditch efforts to boost their party’s morale have included playing the race card in Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Maryland. In addition, they have now turned to say that Obama’s low approval ratings do not pose any risk in the upcoming mid-terms.

They cite the fact that Obama’s low approval ratings mirrors what it was just prior to the 2012 presidential elections when he won re-election in a landslide. The point of the article is that Obama’s low approval rating has no bearing on the election. However, it turns out the “big lie” is the one the Left is spinning. Presidential approval ratings absolutely play a significant role in mid-term elections. This coming Tuesday, that is exactly the type of election that is going to be held.

The 2012 presidential election cannot be compared to this upcoming election. The comparison must be apples for apples so to speak. During the 2010 mid-term elections, Obama’s low approval ratings translated into a landslide victory for the GOP that gave them a net pickup of 63 House seats. The GOP also took control of a majority of state governorships and legislatures at a time that required congressional redistricting. With Obama’s approval ratings again being low, he will be a drag on his party.

The only question now is how many House and Senate seats the party will lose in the upcoming election. The big truth here is that it is too late for the Democrats to sway voters. Sadly, when the party had a chance to sway voters, they chose to ignore them and enact legislation against the will of the people. Another big truth is that it’s time for Democrats to pay the piper.
