See How Differently The News Covers An Attack Before And After Learning It Was By A Cop

The Christmas holidays brings out the best and the worst in people. In this case, Christmas was not a cheery time of the year for an on-duty uniformed female transit worker.

The female worker was physically assaulted by a white male, who apparently knocked her to the ground and commence choking her. Thankfully, another worker came to her aid, as her assailant fled the scene on feet.

The next day, the media released a photo of the attacker, and described the attacker as a hulking brute and a thug. The media that released the photo asked the public for their help.

However, after the assailant was identified has being an off- duty police officer, the newspaper changed the way it identified the attacker. To many people in the public eye, they can see the difference in the way the media describe crimes committed by ordinary people, and crimes committed by law enforcement. The clean- up job in the newspaper only confirms what millions of spectators always know.

This example of how the media down play crimes committed by police officers, only validate the claim that police officers violate citizens, and face no consequences. From the way the media cover up law enforcement illegal actions, it only stands to prove that what the public sees and thinks about the unfairness in the legal system is absolutely true.
