Reporters Demand The Media Stop Interviewing Paid Liar Kellyanne Conway

In the first few days since President Donald Trump has taken office, the Counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, has already lied so much that the top journalists throughout the country are considering a boycott against interviewing her.

In an interview with Meet the Press Sunday, Conway was asked about Trump’s lie about the number of people in the crowd at his inauguration. She referred to his lie as “alternative facts,” to which Chuck Todd replied, “Alternative facts are not facts.

They are falsehoods.” She has received intense criticism for her comment from many important journalists, and because of this comment, it will likely be hard for anyone to take her seriously anymore.

Less than 24 hours after the Meet the Press Sunday interview, she explained to George Stephanopoulos that she “didn’t see the point” in three million people participating in the Women’s March on Saturday. She said, “I mean, you have a day after he’s uplifting and unifying and you have folks here being on a diatribe where I think they could have requested a dialogue.”

Jay Rosen, a media critic and journalism professor, went on Recode Media Monday’s podcast to talk about Conway. He said, “I don’t think the people interviewing Kellyanne Conway know what they are doing.

The journalistic logic of it is growing dimmer with every interview.” During his interview, Rosen described how Conway clearly has no idea what she’s talking about, and because she has contradicted herself and Trump so many times already, there is no journalistic integrity in interviewing her.
