One of the most unique water-based examples of home architecture is being planned by the Kleindienst development group for their “Heart of Europe” development in Dubai, with each of the 42 homes already drawing looks of amazement for its proposed look.

Each of the homes are technically classified as a boat, since they’re always on the water, moored offshore from the Main Europe and St. Petersburg Islands just off the coast of Dubai.

The Floating Seahorse is the most adventurous approach seen in years when it comes to home building. That’s because its three-story structure will have an entire floor underwater, with windows allowing the resident to see the Persian Gulf marine life that surrounds them.

Regardless of how these residences are constructed, each will be luxurious and made for the wealthiest of individuals. The top floor will not only have a glass-bottomed jacuzzi, but a kitchenette, outdoor shower, mini bar and bed. The sea level floor will have a living room, a full kitchen and a dining room.

The bottom floor is what sets this creation apart from any yacht currently on the market. Here, the master bedroom and bathroom will allow for sleeping quarters that allow people to look at all of the underwater activity taking place around them.

The homes will be constructed in dry dock in Dubai beginning in the latter half of this year before being positioned on the water. Sometime next year, the first of the the villas will be able to be inhabited.
