As you peruse through the following series of images, you’ll experience what one young girl found as she awoke one morning. Taped to her bedroom door was a sign in her Dad’s scrawl which simply read “This Way” with an arrow pointing the way to follow. Apparently, it wasn’t something her father was known to do, and her anticipation must have begun to increase.
Further down the hallway, another such sign was found. The direction took her past quite a bit of hallway clutter consisting of boxes and other odds & ends.
This led the girl to yet another such sign taped to a bamboo cabinet filled with mugs and trinkets such as are seen being sold at yard sales. As the girl followed the sign to the destination, there she found the dishwasher open with a rack of dishes in plain sight. A sign was carefully placed over the dishes which read, “Thank you, Wash Dishes”. Truth be told there isn’t much of an effort that needs to be expended to kick off the dishwasher.
All a person needs to do is add the dishwasher drops, close the door, and press a few buttons.
The machine does most of the work. However, handling certain chores can be easily overlooked because of the relative ease in doing them especially when coupled with taking things for granted like clean clothes, food, and clean dishes. It isn’t clear how the girl reacted and whether she obliged her father’s request. Hopefully, she took the gentle reminder to heart and learned a lesson that in a family, everyone has to pitch in.
