If a significant other asks that you get rid of an animal, most people would oblige, especially if they have been a couple for a long period of time. One man’s girlfriend demanded that he get rid of his dog.
It would have possibly been a different outcome if she would have talked to him about the dog and asked that the animal at least go outside, but he posted an ad on Craigslist that she probably thought was more than offensive.
The man and his girlfriend were together for four years. He decided that it had been long enough for them to move in together. She knew that he had the dog when they met. However, the one thing that he didn’t know was that she disliked the dog. When she demanded that the dog go to another home, he got even.
He posted the Craigslist ad, making it seem at first like he was trying to find a home for the animal. There was even a picture of a dog on the ad. He listed the ad as free to anyone who would take her, and the dog is a girl, so this wasn’t anything suspicious.
He gave a description about needing to rehome her and that she comes from a wealthy area. She seems to be a little high maintenance. At the end of the ad, the surprise comes out that he is trying to find a new home for his girlfriend.
