Nurse Discovers Chemo Patient And Family Is Homeless, And She Takes Heroic Actions…

In life, generosity is a scarce commodity indeed. Everyone deals with their own troubles, and people don’t usually involve themselves in the hardships of others. Fortunately for one family, though, the kindness and generosity of one woman will never be forgotten.

Cynthia is an oncology nurse and had been treating 17-year-old Basil for a benign brain tumor. Over the course of his radiation treatments, Basil’s mother opened up to Cynthia, and revealed that they were going to be homeless soon since she had been unable to find a job despite her desperate search for one.

With the help of her colleagues, Cynthia was able to help Basil and his family by helping to pay for them to remain in an extended-stay hotel. But sadly, this could not be sustained and in a desperate plea, the kind-hearted nurse wrote to The Super Squad and asked for their help, explaining that this poor family was in dire need of a home.

In superhero fashion, The Super Squad came to the rescue. Without Cynthia’s knowledge, they arranged for this most-deserving family to live one year in a brand new fully furnished home, rent free. Falling on a series of tough times herself, Cynthia knew she had to try everything possible to help this family.

Her kindness and generosity is hard not to admire. Losing loved ones herself to cancer, she understood the emotional toll chemo treatment takes on everyone involved. Her helping hand was exactly what Basil and his mother needed when they were about to suffer the most.
