New Jersey Teen Accepted Into All Eight Ivy League Schools

It’s been a good year for Ifeoma White-Thorpe. The New Jersey teenager recently learned that she had been accepted into all eight Ivy League colleges, as well as Stanford. The prestigious collection of eight includes Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Dartmouth and Brown. Most teenagers would be thrilled to get into one of these, so it’s quite the accomplishment to be invited to them all.

The Rockaway teen hopes to go into the field of global health, and it was the research facilities at these schools that attracted her attention.

White-Thorpe, who is student body president at her high school, was giddy with excitement when she realized that she had been accepted to all of these exclusive institutions. She has not yet decided which of the colleges she intends to attend, but her proud parents say that they will support her in whatever she chooses.

This accomplishment is not unheard of. Several other teens in recent years have also managed to collect acceptance letters from all of the Ivy League schools.

However, it is extremely rare, so White-Thorpe certainly has a plenty of reasons to brag. Wherever she decides to go, it is clear that this young woman has a bright future ahead of her.
