Claire is a woman who lives in the United Kingdom and has Multiple Sclerosis. She was diagnosed with the condition when she was 19-years-old. Doctors prescribed her medications and put her on a strict diet in order to lessen the effects of the disease.
Although there is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis, it can be controlled with diet and medication. Five months after beginning the treatment regimen, Claire started a new job. She also met a man named Paul and fell in love.
After four years of dating, the couple had their first child. However, tragedy struck in March 2005. Claire’s MS had worsened, and she was paralyzed. She also gained weight, but she had a regular menstrual cycle.
One night, Claire woke up with excruciating pain. She was bleeding and severe cramps. She told Paul that it felt like she was in labor. Claire was in the bathroom, and she gave birth to a baby girl in the toilet.
However, that was not the only surprise the couple received. Claire thought that she was delivering the after birth. It turned out to be another baby girl.
Fortunately, the family is doing fine. Claire did not think that she was pregnant because she was on birth control, and her periods were normal.
