Huskies are known to be an extremely vocal breed. In fact, there are many videos scattered around the internet where they can be heard saying ‘no’ and ‘I love you.’
Huskies are one of the most intelligent breeds of dogs on the planet. However, with a high level of inelegance comes a bit of stubbornness. They require a bit more motivation than the average pup, and Zeus proves it.
When Zeus the husky is told it’s time to go for a walk, he confines himself to a bathtub. Mom explains that Zeus loves playing in the water. Instead of going on his walk, he is trying to persuade her to turn on the faucet to fill the tub. His hilarious protest goes on for a whole minute, throwing a tantrum on par with a human toddler.
Stanley Coren of the University of British Columbia is a Psychologist who specializes in canine behavior. He tells “Scientific America” that when dogs ‘talk’ they are attempting to mimic human speech.
In doing so they expect to be rewarded with praise and treats. Perhaps in Zeus’ case, some fun in the tub. No matter what the science is behind dog behavior, this husky is a guaranteed riot.
