The most horrifying image to date has shown up in the ISIS propaganda. This small child is believed to be less than six months old. The sickening part of this photo is not just the fact that these militants in Syria and Iraq are using an infant for their photos, it is that they have this baby covered with the black flag now known in association with this group that is terrorizing the Middle East.
This baby is not surrounded with the toys one would picture a baby with, but rather it has grenades, a pistol, and a Kalashnikov rifle positioned next to it.
This image of this baby is believed to be the youngest child that the ISIS group has used yet. The image of this baby was posted on Twitter with a hashtag that #IS. The social media surrounding ISIS lashed out at the posting. Many Twitter users were beyond angry, verging on the line of furious accusing the group of using ‘babies as weapons to kill the innocent.’
This is not the first picture of a small child in the ISIS campaign, however it is one of the more disturbing ones. The image of this infant child is raising a series of questions to the public. What will happen to these children that are being exposed to radicals at such a young age?
