I’ve Never Seen Rice Krispy Treats Quite Like This. And Now It Is The Only Recipe I Will Use

Imagine being able to combine Rice Krispie Treats that have been enjoyed by many generations with a super-easy-to-make cheesecake that takes much less time than the normal cheesecake filling. What could be more delicious than these two desserts combined into one!

The Crust

Make the original Rice Krispies Treat recipe (12 servings) but do not do the step where you put that mixture into a pan and cut them into squares. Instead, make it into a pie crust.

In a saucepan, melt 3 Tablespoons butter (reduced calorie, diet, or tub margarine is not recommended) using low heat. Add 10-ounce package JET-PUFFED Marshmallows OR 4 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows. Stir until melted completely. Remove from the heat. Add 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® and stir until cereal is well coated.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
Heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes until smooth. Follow other steps above.

The cheesecake filling

In a mixing bowl, combine 16 ounces cream cheese and 1 1/2 sticks butter. Mix on medium speed for about four minutes. Add in 6 ounces of condensed milk and 2 Tablespoons sugar. Mix on medium speed for two minutes.

Put 1/4 cup pureed berries in mixing bowl and mix on medium speed until no longer solid.

Put them together

Line a springform pan with Rice Krispies, coating the sides and bottom with a baking spray, making a crust. Pour in the filling and refrigerate for two hours or until set. Slice into pieces.
