People have many different feelings about seeing a tiny house nestled deep in the woods. For example, some folks might view a small house isolated in the woods as something to be avoided. Perhaps these people see a small house in the woods and are reminded of a witch in a fairy tale. People also might think of creepy hermits and other social misfits when they encounter an image of a tiny house hidden away in the outskirts of town. Other people see something positive in a small, run-down house. These folks might see a small house and think about someone being in touch with nature. They might link a small house with the idea of living a simple life devoid of worldly concerns.
Some images on the Internet are bringing all of these thoughts to mind. You can see a tiny house built by Patrick Romero parked out in the woods. At first, it looks incredibly small and impractical. It even seems a little strange. However, the pictures that show the inside are absolutely incredible. If you had a negative impression about tiny houses hidden in the woods, you will certainly change your mind after you see what Romero was able to do with such a small home.
The first thing you notice inside of the tiny house is how bright it is. Romero painted the interior white, and ample lighting gives the illusion of an incredible amount of space. A dark sofa and a black loft ladder give the room some contrast. A couple of yellow items add a little bit of color to the room. The result is that the room seems incredibly warm and inviting. You don’t even think of it as a small space. Instead, you see a place where you want to curl up with a book to spend some time away from the craziness of day to day life.
Naturally, space is at a premium in the house. Romero provided plenty of solutions in his home for this reality. For example, the table is able to fold up against he wall. Additionally, the sofa is able to be pulled out to become a bed. Two other beds are located up in the loft. The beds look comfortable, and you can also enjoy a great view when you are lying down. This is because Romero included plenty of skylights in the home. This floods the house with natural light, and it makes the space seem much more open.
Romero added a porch on the side of the home. This makes a lot of sense. People own tiny homes to spend more time outside in the real world. A porch is a perfect place to do just that. The porch is able to expand and retract as needed. What a great feature!
