Instead Of Throwing My Kids’ Old Jerseys Away, We Turned Them Into This And They Loved It!

If you have children who have played a lot of team sports and have the jerseys to show it, you know that these jerseys take up alot of space. However, you may not want to throw them out or give them away, because they carry a lot of precious memories as well. If you are into arts and crafts, the following is a fun and easy way to repurpose these old jerseys.

You can make these old jerseys into wall art that everyone can enjoy. All you need for this project is a jersey, a canvas that is big enough to display the part of the jersey that you want to show, a pair of heavy duty scissors, a heavy duty stapler, and a pair of pliers.

Start off by putting the canvas into the jersey, eyeballing the part of the jersey you want to display. Then, simply fold the top and bottom of the jersey over the back of the canvas firmly.

Cut off the sleeves and the top of the jersey, and start folding the four sides around the back and stapling them to the back. Check the front of the canvas from time to time to make sure that the correct area is being displayed. If you staple one part of it wrong, remove the staple with a pair of pliers.

Now, you have a great piece of art that represents a great memory as well. This is fun and easy and definitely worth a try soon.
