If You Think You Know How To Make Smores The Right Way, Then You Need To Check This Recipe Out

S’mores are a classic camping treat that feature toasted marshmallows squished in-between two graham crackers and a piece of chocolate. Though everyone always wants “some more” of the fireside dessert, they can leave behind a large mess; this is particularly true when young children eat the treats.

The solution to this mess is to make “S’mores Dip,” a dip that features all of the flavor of the s’more in a single dish that can be shared. A side benefit of the less-mess dip is that it can be made year-round, without a campfire. The dip also adds a peanut butter flavor to the treat, making it a recipe that everyone is sure to love.

To make the dip, first pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees. A cast iron skillet should be placed inside of the oven while it heats, in order to adequately heat the pan. When the oven is completely warmed, remove the skillet with an oven mitt and lightly oil or butter the bottom and sides. Next pour one-and-a-half cups of chocolate chips into the bottom of the skillet. Top the chocolate chips with full-size peanut butter cups. Finally, large marshmallows that have been cut in half should be added on top of the peanut butter cups, cut side down. The skillet is then carefully placed back into the oven and baked for five to seven minutes.

Remove it from the oven and let it cool for five minutes before serving. Serve the dip with graham crackers and be ready for everyone to enjoy the camping treat without the mess.
