Sarah Owen Bigler was having a hectic day one Wednesday. Her husband was sick, and she had to pick up her children from school. After picking up her kids, she made a trip to Target. She quickly picked up the items she needed and was happy to see that there was only one customer ahead of her. However, the customer was an elderly person who was paying for the items with coins.
Sarah stated that she was very frustrated with the woman because she was ready to go home. However, the cashier, whose name is Ismael, was very patient. He was kind to the elderly woman and even gave her a reusable bag. Even though the process was tedious, Ishmael continued to be patient the entire time.
Sarah was impressed by the kindness of the cashier. She was happy that she had her kids with her because they got to see an act of kindness. Sarah realized that she needed to be more kind and patient. She thanked the cashier for his kindness and told the manager.
She also wrote about the experience on her Facebook. Sarah stated that she wishes there were more people like Ishmael in the world.
