I Had No Idea These Two Unlikely Items Found In Your House Will Repel Any Bug From Biting You

Summer is quickly approaching. While this means warm weather and carefree nights spent on the back deck or front porch, it also means more of a chance of getting bitten by mosquitoes.

There are few things that are more annoying than having to deal with itchy mosquito bites that cannot be ignored. Mosquito repellent works well, but it is often expensive, not to mention that it smells terrible and contains all sorts of chemicals. If you are looking for a wonderful alternative to store bought mosquito repellent, you can actually make one in your home with two ingredients that you probably already own.

All you need for homemade mosquito repellent is apple cider vinegar and parsley. If you have fresh parsley, this would be ideal, but dried parsley would work as well. First, get a small handful that amounts to about one teaspoon of parsley, as well as about four ounces of apple cider vinegar.

Put both of these ingredients into a mortar and pestle, and grind up the parsley so that it is completely dissolved in the vinegar. Once the two ingredients are completely combined, let them sit for at least 30 minutes and overnight if you are able to do so.

Once they have had the chance to sit for a while, pour them through a strainer to get rid of any debris. Then, pour the remaining liquid into a spray bottle, and it will be ready for use. This is so easy and definitely worth trying out.
