A Grover Beach, California woman is being held after she sprayed weed killer in a seven year old child’s face. The altercation occurred when the sixty year old Julie Rodenhuis was accidentally sprayed with water as a group of children played at the condominium’s pool. Julie Rodenhuis was reported to have said, “You squirted me, now I’m going to squirt you.” She then sprayed the child in the face with weed killer in front of a large group of shocked residents.
Residents report that this is not the first altercation between Julie Rodenhuis and the residents of the apartment complex. Previous attempts have been made with the homeowners association to have Julie Rodenhuis removed from the apartment complex.
After spraying weed killer into the child’s eyes, residents rushed to the child’s aid. The child was treated by paramedics, and taken to a nearby hospital. The seven year old girl was later released, and is reported to be in good condition.
Julie Rodenhuis was immediately arrested by the police. She is being held for assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious injury, and child endangerment. All of these charges are felonies, and she is expected to receive a large sentence for her actions. Julie Rodenhis is being held on a 100,000 dollar bail, and it is more than expected that she will not be returning to the apartment complex at any time in the future.
