The family of Ariel Ann Jackson are asking the public for help locating the missing teen. Ariel is 18-years-old, pregnant, and missing from her hometown of Oxford, Mississippi. She was last seen in Oxford at her mother’s home on March 16th, 2016.
While Ariel is an adult and a few days is not normally cause for concern, what makes her disappearance so alarming is that her boyfriend Tyler Lamb had become physically violent and assaulted her over the previous weekend. Her family is afraid that he has had something to do with her disappearance.
Ariel’s mother left her home for a short period of time and returned to find her daughter gone. Tyler was facing domestic abuse charges, which is why family and friends believe he chose to flee the area. No one is sure why he chose to possibly take Ariel with him though.
However they are all concerned for her well-being, especially since she is pregnant. Her aunt, Miranda Jackson, has taken to Facebook to plead with others to help bring her niece home. She shared photos of the couple, as well as information to where they may be headed. She mentioned that Tyler has family in Florida and that he has a 2005 Champagne-colored Nissan Altima. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department.
