A little girl named Ace Eicher created a video, with the help of her mother, about her little brother Archie, who suffers from Down syndrome. The video was created in accordance with World Down Syndrome Day, which occurs on March 21 each year.
Since the video was posted, it has obtained nearly 3 million views, which shows just how popular and important its message is. In the video, Ace tells the story of her brother, who was an orphan in Bulgaria before he came to live with Ace and her family. Ace explains that Archie’s mother was told that her child had Down syndrome, and after that, she decided she could no longer keep him.
Ace says that, although her mother has tried to explain it to her, she doesn’t understand why some people think Archie is different or why his mother would decide she didn’t want him after learning of his condition. Throughout the video, Ace explains that Archie isn’t all that different from any other child.
She says that she and Archie do everything together, and although he can get on her nerves sometimes, she still loves him. Ace doesn’t care that Archie may be different, she thinks that is what makes him so special.
