Her Baby Died At Birth. So She Sold Her Crib. What The Buyer Did As A Surprise Made Me Cry

Giving birth to a stillborn baby can be one of the most devastating events that an individual can go through. This would be no news to Valerie Watts, who recently delivered a stillborn baby boy herself. Of course, she was absolutely shattered by this.

It took a while, but she finally decided to have a garage sale where she could unload several things, including the crib in which her baby boy was supposed to sleep. She ended up selling the crib to a man named Gerald and his wife, and then she thought it was gone forever. However, they found out her situation and the fact that she had just given birth to a stillborn baby, and Gerald decided to do something very special for her.

Gerald was a carpenter, and he decided to do some work on the crib to transform it into something amazing. What he did was make it into a memorial bench for Valerie’s deceased baby boy. She was understandably very shocked when she saw what he had done, and she was incredibly touched to the point of tears.

These people had just bought this crib, and they had no obligation to do anything like this for her, but they decided to make this beautiful gesture to a complete stranger anyway. What a lovely way to honor her baby, and she will absolutely treasure it forever.

It is so heartwarming to see stories like this, because it shows that there is still good in the world.
