Hell Has Frozen Over, Rush Limbaugh Admits He’s No Longer Important Or Relevant

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh appears to feel that he is losing touch with younger audiences, and recent lack of support for his show may confirm this.

Limbaugh recently posted a tweet saying, in essence, that he is no longer confident he is reaching the 25-54 year old demographic advertisers want to appeal to most. The 64 year old Limbaugh went on to say that there is now a younger generation with an entirely different life experience than him who aren’t necessarily going to take his views seriously.

Such public self-doubt and soul-searching is rare on Limbaugh’s part. For decades, Limbaugh has confidently bashed liberals and cheered conservatives. This is a man who sold timers that counted down to the end of the Clinton presidency and who said that he hoped the Obama administration would fail.

Rush’s suspicion of his own increasing obsolescence may be accurate. A source has claimed that Limbaugh’s program is slated to be shut down on Chicago radio station WLS – a communications industry giant – by the time March is over. If this proves to be true, it will be a devastating blow to Limbaugh whose show currently airs on WLS from 11 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday.
