Republican supports don’t approve of Obama care and they offer an alternative proposal. This proposal is to reform the health law because republicans don’t believe in some of the major consumer protections. In our government today, the congress is controlled by Republicans.
Republicans challenge the Obama care solution but in the past haven’t been able to come together on an alternative solution. GOP is under consistent pressure to propose a health care plan. The GOP however has proposed a solution this year. Their concept is “Patient Choice, Affordability, Responsibility, and Empowerment Act” It is considered a concept for now because their no Legislative language.
GOP lawmakers are using their strategies to scale back Obama care. One of the GOP’s sticking points is that Obama care mandates maternity coverage in the entire buddle of sales at the State level. This sticking point brings awareness to cost concerns. GOP will latch onto the idea of generous benefits driving up health costs. Not everyone will need maternity care and this is an important case GOP is making; they believe having children is a choice. Women health care is much higher than men’s because women require special reproductive health services like pap smears, mammograms and birth control.
Obama care supports argue that these costs can be controlled through maternity services. This will hopefully encourage critical health care to ensure healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.
