Golden Retriever Throws Himself In Front Of THIS To Save His Blind Owner’s Life

A dog is often an owner’s best friend. Some dogs care for owners who are sick or blind. This Golden Retriever displays the true definition of service and being loyal to an owner with one act.

The dog helps his owner, who is blind, get to where she needs to go during the day. He also helps her do daily chores around the home. The pair live in New York. There is often a lot of traffic on some of the streets in New York. The training that the dog has received helped to save the life of his owner.

When the dog was helping his owner cross a road, the dog noticed a small bus coming. The bus was headed for the woman. The dog ran in front of the bus and would have had the bus hit him instead of the woman. Fortunately, the dog and the woman survived. The woman did end up in the hospital with with a fractured elbow and ankle.

She also had a few broken ribs. The dog also had a few cuts on his leg. Officers got the dog out of the road and took him and his owner to safety after the bus hit them. The dog wasn’t allowed to go in the ambulance. However, both of them received the care they needed from separate hospitals.
