Not many people would be willing to throw themselves into a hellish inferno, disregarding heat and smoke to try and save somebody trapped inside. Good thing we have firefighters to do the job. But these everyday heroes are capable of fixing problems that aren’t on fire, too.
One little boy was very upset after a vehicle accident, so a firefighter did the only thing that he could think to do: he helped the little boy.
The car had rolled several times from an exit ramp — it’s no wonder why he was upset. That shit would be terrifying. Understanding that the child was frightened and incapable of understanding the situation, he put on his compassion coat, and got to work.
The boy was laying on the ground waiting to be transported by ambulance. The firefighter went comfort the boy by laying down on the road beside him. He turned on his phone so “Happy Feet” was playing, which seemed to soothe the boy until he was taken away to the hospital.
There were five children inside the car when it crashed. The firefighter not only played music from the movie “Happy Feet”, but he also showed clips of the movie. The firefighter didn’t think anything about being on the road with the little boy. It was something that he knew he needed to do as part of his job was to make victims feel comfortable.
