It is amazing how intent the political Left is to find Ferguson police officer Wilson guilty of murder. With their entire narrative of a gentle giant having collapsed to reveal a street thug and thief, a reasonable person would think the media would begin embracing the facts as they emerge. This is not the case. Last week, the St. Louis Dispatch ran a story regarding the coroner’s autopsy report under a headline that stated that Michael Brown had a wound on his hand consistent with trying to grab Officer Wilson’s gun.
This week, the Left responds by saying the coroner came out to repudiate the report by the St. Louis Dispatch and “damn” or “condemn” Officer Wilson. While it is true that Dr. Judy Melinek, the coroner, believes the St. Louis Dispatch took some of her comments out of context, she did not “damn” nor “condemn” officer Wilson. Instead, she pointed out that the St. Louis Dispatch drew conclusions from her comments which were not meant to state that one interpretation of certain facts was the only possible explanation for the wounds. In fact, she stated that her findings did align themselves with the police officers account and the eye witness accounts.
In fact, she stated that the thumb wound on Brown’s hand was consistent with reaching out for the gun and could not have been sustained by him having his hands raised!
In her interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, he went to great lengths to school the forensic expert on Brown’s fatal gunshot wound to the head as if to imply it had to have occurred with him being on the ground IE being executed by Officer Wilson. When she stated Brown could have received the wound by bending down a little bit, O’Donnell disagreed with her and again pushed for his version of the events. In short, the entire race inciting narrative of Brown has collapsed and the Left cannot stomach the results.
