Recently, a professional photographer named Sebastian Luczywo noticed that his young daughter, who has Downs Syndrome, inherited his talent for photography. Sebastian – who specializes in photographing people, landscapes, and animals – never taught his daughter how to take pictures; she’s basically self-taught.
For fun, and as a bonding experience, the two had a friendly competition where both took pictures, which were later posted online for people in cyberspace to judge who is the stronger photographer. Sebastian reported that the experience of viewing the images his daughter took forced him to look at the world from a new perspective and made him a better photographer.
The point is, even people who are highly-skilled at some art or craft can get better at it. The pictures are posted online in pairs with one image being by Sebastian and its partner by his daughter. Each pair is of a similar theme – for example, shots of the same landscape or person – but angles, perspective and other details vary.
Charmingly enough, both father and daughter took pictures of one another and selfies of the two of them together. All of the shots look highly professional; deciding who is the better photographer is a tough call. Both father and daughter are clearly passionate about photography and about how people, animals, and landscapes can be captured in images.
