Michael Moore was on Bill Maher’s TV show friday night with Al Sharpton, and a former CIA operative to discuss how extreme religion has a negative effect on culture.
They discussed how extreme islamics give all of islam a bad name and they need a figure to help correct this image.
Many people in America view all Islamic people as dangerous, when in reality it’s a few who have tarnished the reputation for all.
Moore went onto to compare the same issue the extreme-right has caused about Christians. There a few in politics who are driving this country backwards. Moore went on to say:
“the policies in this country have been driven by the Christian right. They took over and they turned this country into the dark ages and we’re so far behind now with science, education, health care, everything.”
