Escaped Mississippi Murder Suspect Learned A Harsh Life Lesson In Messing With The Wrong Person

Suspected murderer Rafael Arnez McCloud was killed on Thursday after the family he had been holding hostage decided to fight back. Police found McCloud’s body in the bathtub of a home near Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was shot numerous times by a female hostage.

The family’s ordeal began in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday when the man and his son were entering the home’s garage. McCloud came at the innocent people weilding a knife and forced his way inside their house.

Once there, he tied up the man, placed him in the bathtub and made the rest of the family stay in the bathroom. For some, unknown reson, the wife was allowed to leave the bathroom for a moment – she returned moments later with a gun and shot McCloud repetedly. She then untied her husband who proceeded to shoot McCloud several more times. After he died, the family left the home and got a motorist to call the police.

Martin Pace, the sheriff of Warren County, said this was not exactly the outcome department had hoped for, but they couldn’t complain about it. McCloud would have stood trial for his crime, the murder of Sharon Wilson in June 2015.

Wilson was sexually assaulted and severely beaten, and her body was left in an old building. McCloud was charged with rape, murder, arson, grand theft auto and weapons possession. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges two months ago, then pulled this stunt – which, is likely to be his last.
