Elizabeth Lauten, an ex-GOP staffer, made headlines after she wrote a Facebook tirade to the Obama girls telling them they should show more class.
The short message quickly went viral and accused the girls of being classless for making faces and wearing dresses with a shorter hemline at the turkey pardoning event. Although it should be noted that a turkey pardoning event hardly seems to be the most somber national event.
Lauten however seems to have a case of amnesia about her own history as a teen because it appears her past as a teen is not quite as classy either. After her quick resignation for her inappropriate comments, internet researchers took to her history and discovered that at age 17 she was picked up for shoplifting. At age 18 she was caught speeding and running a red light.
Most damning however is a shot of her at a bar doing some type of turkey dance holding a beer in her mouth with her teeth. Perhaps Lauten ought to think about quickly things go viral before opening her own mouth, for a beer or a Facebook tirade. Despite a measly apology, Lauten was forced to step down as criticism quickly surrounded her.
