Matt Davis had only been married for seven months when he had got into a serious motorcycle accident that left him in a coma. The doctors did not believe that he would make it. They told Matt’s wife Danielle that she should just pull the plug. However, Danielle refused. She stated that she knew that God would pull her husband through the ordeal.
Matt was in a coma for three months before he was able to come home. Even though Matt was out of the coma, he was not able to remember anything that had happened within the past three years. He did not remember his father’s death. He also did not remember marrying Danielle.
Math said, “I’m trying”. When Danielle heard those words, she knew that her husband was going to be alright. Matt has made amazing progress ever since the accident. He is off his medications, and he is learning how to walk again. Danielle is trying to raise funds so that her husband can continue to get the care that he needs.
Matt wants to help Danielle because she never lost the faith even though the doctors wanted to give up on him. Danielle also stated that her husband motivates and inspires her because he never complains about what he is going through.
