Dentist Who Poached Cecil The Lion Shuts Down Business And Is Hiding From The Public

Dr. Walter Palmer of Minnesota has angered millions of people from all around the world by shooting and killing famed Cecil, a lion who resided at a park in the African nation of Zimbabwe. Palmer is a dentist who owns a practice called River Bluff Dental, which is located in a Minneapolis, Minnesota suburb known as Bloomington.

Although River Bluff Dental previously was a successful dental clinic, it’s now completely empty and silent. The practice shut down on July 29th, almost a month after Cecil passed away. This was due to the furious comments of people online. People who were upset by the dentist’s actions posted thousands of negative comments on a review page for his practice.

As soon as Palmer confessed to being responsible for shooting Cecil, people from all around the world responded by posting commentary on his practice’s Yelp page. Many people even set up fake Facebook accounts to express their absolute disdain toward Palmer’s behavior. Palmer’s Internet reputation quickly took a beating as soon as news outlets got wind of his identity.

Some people established Facebook pages that were solely intended to discuss their anger toward what Dr. Palmer had recently done in Africa. One page even displayed a large and clear photograph of Palmer proudly posing right next to another of his big cat killings. The goal of these pages is to openly discuss what had happened with Cecil and perhaps prevent the same thing from ever happening again.

Palmer must be hearing everyone’s words loud and clear now.
