Circulating the internet is a video of a cheerleading squad performing a cheer set to the song “God Bless The USA”. It was created in 2002 to honor those lost in the tragedy of September 11th. The routine went perfectly since they’d been practicing it for almost 13 years now. Some people are proud of the school for honoring the country, but there are still others who question the performance.
The squad recently did their annual show but this time with a twist. There was audio included with the words of the song that retold some of the events that took place on 9/11. The routine began with all of the girls standing in rows as narrators described the events of that fateful day.
The were those of voices of the news anchors who and family and friends of the victims. The cheerleaders performed various stunts from cartwheels to pyramids and even individual routines as well.
The end of the show is spectacular! The cheerleaders climb into a pyramid and hold pom-poms spelling out USA. Students claim that the routine brings tears to the eyes and displays the true love for the country years after year.
