In fact, commentators stated there has never been a political upset this huge since Andrew Jackson won the presidency over almost 200 years ago. However, be assured that rational Democrats and Republicans will be united against any crazy ideas stemming from the brain of Donald Trump.
Republicans and Democrats uniting against Trump can be a good thing. For example, the insane idea of trying to deport millions of people is an idea no serious member of Congress from either party will tolerate. However, the uniting of Democrats and Republicans could also be terrible. For example, Trump stated he wants to impose term limits in Congress. Both Republicans and Democrats have never been fans of term limits. This is because it limits the power of an elite political class. As a political outsider, Trump will have to fight against these elitists, and all Americans should cheer him on regarding this endeavor.
Keep in mind Donald Trump’s victory destroyed both political parties. The Republican Party was shredded to ribbons once Trump accepted the nomination. On election night, the modern Democratic Party, a party now run exclusively by coastal elites networking with very wealthy foreigners and corporations, was also kicked into the dustbin of history. Also, remember that Hillary Clinton’s failure to see her inevitable loss in the face of so much populist anger has folks furious at her sabotage of Bernie Sanders. Her sense of entitlement delivered the White House to Donald Trump on a silver platter. Had Bernie been battling Donald Trump, you can bet your bottom dollar he would have won.
This is why so many Americans are rejoicing to hear the latest news from Senator Sanders. He said recently, “It is an embarrassment, I think, to the entire of Democratic Party that millions of white working-class people decided to vote for Mr. Trump, which suggests that the Democratic message of standing up for working people no longer holds much sway among workers in this country.” Hillary Clinton is the main reason why workers don’t trust the Democratic party. Her husband allowed their jobs to be shipped over seas. Her strategy was to continue that pattern by wrapping it in a veneer of dubious cosmopolitan sensibilities that only appealed to urban elites.
Bernie Sanders continued, ‘You cannot be a party which on one hand says we’re in favor of working people, we’re in favor of the needs of young people but we don’t quite have the courage to take on Wall Street and the billionaire class.” Obviously, Hillary Clinton was the perfect example of a politician lacking that courage. She failed to stand up to Wall Street and the billionaire class. Instead, she privately became one of them. Sanders concluded, “People do not believe…You’ve got to decide which side you’re on.” That side will be decided in 2020. Even better, the rumor is that Senator Sanders is planning to run again to be that voice average Americans loved until the Clinton political machine crushed it.
All of this means you should definitely be wary of Donald Trump’s new job. However, be grateful that he is an outsider who hijacked the outdated Republican Party only to smash it into the corrupt Democratic Party. Once the chaos clears, American will be ready for another outsider to take charge. That outsider will be Senator Bernie Sanders, and we should all look forward to his campaign for the White House in only a few short years.
