Ben Carson’s Prediction About 2016 Elections Is The Most Idiotic Statement Of The Decade

Add up ISIS, the national debt, and partisan politics, and what do you get? According to Dr. Ben Carson, the neurosurgeon who may run for president in 2016, you get the potential for anarchy that could halt the political process.

When asked on Fox News Sunday if he really believed anarchy could put a stop to the 2016 presidential election, he replied, “Well, I hope that’s not going to be the case, but certainly there is the potential. You have to recognize we have a rapidly increasing national debt, a very unstable financial foundation.” He went on to say, “You have all these things going on like the ISIS crisis that could very rapidly change things that are going on in our nation.”

Carson warned that unless measures are taken to address these problems proactively, “There is no telling what could happen in just a matter of a couple years. Particularly in a situation where we have a Senate and Senate leader who has 300 bills sitting on his desk thereby thwarting the will of the people.”

“This country was supposed to be a country where the government conformed to the will of the people, not the people conforming to the will of the government.” Carson, a Republican, finished at a close second in a straw poll on Saturday comparing potential 2016 contenders.
