After Seeing What Right Wing Nut Hung Up To Protest Obama, I Felt Sick To My Stomach

Norfolk, Virginia – Dr. William Wheeler, a self-described half-Jew, was not pleased when he heard President Obama’s address to the nation last week announcing his executive amnesty plan. Many concerned citizens are alarmed at the president’s brazen willingness to arbitrarily reinterpret existing federal laws to execute them with new found authority the Congress has not authorized.

Earlier this year, the president used an Eisenhower-era law regarding federal procurement of supplies to “find” the authority to raise the federal minimum wage for federal contract workers. Congress has not increased the federal minimum wage for anyone in decades. However, it was the president using his authority to decide which crimes to prosecute and which ones he lacks to resources to enforce that has Dr. Wheeler upset.

President Obama declared that he cannot enforce deportation laws against classes of illegal immigrants and concluded that he will instead grant them legal status with green cards so they can work. No one would fault Dr. Wheeler for taking issue with president on any policy.

That is everyone’s right. However, it is how he did so that has offended residents in his neighborhood. He posted a Nazi flag on the front of his house. News cameras arrived on the scene, but Wheeler did not speak on camera. Off-camera he explained that he chose an offensive symbol to underscore the depth of his sense of offense at Obama’s extra-constitutional actions.

A neighbor also chose to bring up the issue with Dr. Wheeler, but she explained that he turned bellicose and insulted her.
