After 50 Years, Grandparents Slip On Their Wedding Outfits And Discover They Still Fit Perfectly!

The wedding clothes are one of the most important decisions that a couple can make on their wedding day.

Even though the clothes are only worn for a few hours, there is a lot of planning that must be done before the clothes are selected. While many people will put their wedding dresses in the back of their closet, there are some people who choose to wear the wedding clothes more than once.

Carol-Ann and Jim Shaffield’s wedding clothes were discovered by their granddaughter. She insisted that they try on the wedding clothes again. The couple finally gave into their granddaughter’s request. They discovered that the clothes still fit after all of these years. The couple was ecstatic and decided to wear the clothes to their 50th wedding anniversary celebration.

The couple also celebrated their wedding day by getting hearts put on their wedding rings. The hearts were made from gold that Jim found in a metal detector.

Jim and Carol-Ann met at a men’s club in 1962. Jim worked at the men’s club and was instantly attracted to Carol-Ann. He loved her big blond hair. The couple has two children and six children. They have also shared a lifetime of beautiful memories.
