Reporter Confronts Man At Gas Station, He Breaks Into Tears With This News

The Fox5 Surprise Squad, which is located in Las Vegas, selected a stranger and filled up his gas tank. David Winkelspecht was the stranger who was selected. He only had five dollars in his pocket. He was also trying to sell his belongings so that he could make it to San Diego to meet his son and grandchildren.

On May 18, 2015, David uploaded a video explaining his circumstances to the Surprise Squad. He stated that it had been a long time since he heard from his son. David’s son enlisted in the military at the age of 17, and David had not been able to get in touch with his son. David was in tears when the Surprise Squad gave him $1,000.

They also transported him to San Diego so that he could be reunited with his son and grandchildren. David Jr. is looking forward to building the relationship that he had with his father. The reporter recorded David reuniting with his son.

It is obvious that the reporter is touched by the event. She had no idea that when the Surprise Squad offered to pay for a stranger’s gas, they would actually be reuniting family members who had not seen each other in years.
