This Rice Krispie Cheesecake Recipe Will Change The Way You Do Dessert!

If you don’t love cheesecake you’re probably a communist. There’s just something about the coolness and creaminess of this classic dessert that is simply enchanting. Plenty of cheesecake lover buy their cakes at the store or in a restaurant, however unless someone is using a quick recipe out of a box, you often don’t find people making their own cheesecake at home. Whys? Probably because classic cheesecake recipes tend to be a little bit cumbersome, and it takes a decent amount of effort.

It is often just easier to bake a pie, a regular cake, or just purchase a cheesecake someone else already made. Thankfully, this doesn’t have to be the case! There is an awesome way to make a delicious cheesecake in your own home, and you might already have one of the key ingredients in your cupboard: Rice Krispies. The Rice Krispies form the crust of this progressively delicious cheesecake.

Prepare the Rice Krispie crust first: just follow your favorite Rice Krispie treat recipe, the only difference is you need to spray a pie pan with nonstick cooking spray instead of the traditional 9 by 13 inch pan. Press the warm Rice Krispie treats into the pie pan. Let them cool and BAM! You are now ready to make an easy cheesecake recipe to put on top.

You will need 2 tablespoons of sugar, 6 oz. of condensed milk, 1 1/2 stick of butter, and 16 oz of cream cheese. You will also need 1/4 cup of your favorite berries – raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, schnozberries, plumberries, berryberries and bonberries all work great with this recipe. But make sure to get fresh berries for the best result possible. Blend together all of the ingredients, pour the mixture over the Rice Krispie pie crust, and place the whole thing inside of a refrigerator to chill. In only a few hours, you will have a fantastic cheesecake that tastes like two different desserts.

The recipe also mentions you can swap out different types of berries to give the cheesecake its flavorand you can swap out different types of Rice Krispies as well. If you want a little bit of chocolate, you could use chocolate Rice Krispies to make the pie crust. In actuality, you could use any type of grain based cereal.

You’ll never have to make the same cheesecake twice! The variety will be sure to please kids and adults alike. This recipie is so easy, and so delicious, that I am actually legally required to warn you that too many of these Rice-Krispie treat pie-crust cheese cakes will without a doubt lead to weight gain, obesity, an early death, and a massive debt leftover from buying too many Rice-Krispies. Be warned.
